 Painting memories in my mind.

An inner peace I cannot find.

A heavy heart,

Which makes it through,

Every day, Missing you.

I wish you were here with me,

To take my pain away.

I love you and miss you,

And think of you each day.

I cannot let go of you,

Don't think I ever will.

I will cherish you in my heart, always,

Until that heart is still.

Burden

 I’m hurting. I’m just a burden— useful for nothing. Everyone can see it. Placated, elated— but I can never be free. It’s frustrating, the words that never come. It’s heart-breaking.
